4717 Chinese New Year of Pig, a presentation

Presentation of the 4717th Chinese New Year of Pig, as prepaired by Busaba Yip at The Wo Hing Society and Museum, located at Lahaina of County Of Maui on Hawaiian Islands.

Points of interest discussed include:

1) How Lion Dance originates from Persia, mainly because of the Silk Road and related trade activity;

2) During Lion Dance, „lettuce“ is passed; practice from Qing Dynasty for passing money and messages;

3) Cantons are located near shorelines (like Lahaina on Maui island and Hong Kong; while Hakka are visitors and located near mountains (Kula on Maui island).
