A Great Benefit Concert for Maui – An Unforgettable Experience
The first charity concert „Let’s help Maui“, which took place on October 13th and 14th, 2023 in the Lorzensaal in Cham, was a colossal, high-profile event that captured the hearts of the few guests. This weekend offered a wide range of music genres, including energetic rock ’n roll, rock, soulful blues melodies, rousing road songs, powerful and varied vocal roots music and exhilarating story-telling songs, coupled with impressive colorful hula dance performances and the screening of the film „The Wind & the Reckoning“. The sounds of Hawaii in between added a magical touch.
The culinary delights took us straight to Hawaii, thanks to the Hawaiian food from the food truck. The aromas and scents took us on a culinary journey that perfectly matched the music. And not to forget the baristo truck that treated us to excellent drinks that made this special evening even more special.
Two hard months of preparation were undoubtedly worth every single moment. We tried, took risks and always gave it our best shot. The result was a fantastic, family event. Both the audience and the musicians clearly enjoyed this unique event.
The sound, the groove, the music and the singing like hula were simply indescribable. The musical wind flooded the hall and our pulse, our soul and our body swayed in unison. It was simply great, just like Hawaii!
The variety of musical genres thrilled visitors as they were able to experience a wide range of sounds and moods. The musicians and dancers impressed with their talent and contributed significantly to the success of the concert. The artists did their best to electrify the atmosphere in the hall.
The hula dance performances added another dimension. The exceptional quality of the hula dance and professional performance undoubtedly helped guests feel like they were immersed in the world of Hawaii. It was undoubtedly a highlight of this special evening.

Particularly noteworthy was the positive response to the film shown, “The Wind & the Reckoning”, which deeply touched the audience and made them think.
Although the number of guests was low, the event radiated an incomparable warmth and community. It was a fantastic family occasion. The effort and hard work that went into organizing this concert paid off as the event became a real highlight in the region.
Overall, the first charity concert in the Lorzensaal, Cham, was a great success, although with a small audience, which not only thrilled music lovers, but also helped to raise important support for charitable causes and to get to know Hawaii. It was a demonstration of the power of music and solidarity in difficult times.
It was an absolutely fantastic charity concert, driven by commitment, passion and a strong community.
With this event we planted the seeds for future events.
A big thank you to everyone involved on stage, backstage, the team and who provided our food and drinks. A huge thank you and a mahalo nui to the community of Cham and to the Lorzensaal team.
