Die grösste Veränderung und extremer Wachstum im Bauwesen erlebte Honolulu als die USA aus dem hawaiianischen Territorium 1959 den „50zigsten US Staat“ kreirten.
With this overview of old postcards one gets the thoughts back in a time travel. It is hard to imagine what it must have looked like and how people felt in paradise. The biggest change and extreme growth in construction was experienced by Honolulu when the US created Hawaiian territory in 1959, the „50th US state.“

Here we have the Moana Hotel in Waikiki, circa 1956. It was the first hotel to be built in Waikiki, opening its doors in 1901.
