Climate change is a global problem. But politicians, the economy and the rich upper class of the population do not want to accept it, they look the other way, only look out for themselves in order to get richer, and make fools of us with pseudo environmental and climate protection. Additional levies and taxes are demanded from the normal working class for „environmental and climate protection“ – that’s what the business people say – but they do nothing to do anything about it. They just pocket the money themselves, because the business people have only created an additional source of financial income with the words „environmental protection“. But nothing is being done about it. The economy and industry have become so far removed from society, alienated and are producing far away from healthy, normal productivity. They are producing in such excess, consuming so many resources from our earth that our mother earth will soon be bled dry and poisoned. From my constant reflections and philosophizing, I have come to the conclusion that there is only one physical and one natural law: Nature is balanced in all its things and is one. If it is not balanced in one thing, nature will automatically balance itself again. The whole world does not function otherwise. Well, for me, climate change is the earth’s attempt to balance itself again. My question is simple: who will be the winner and neutralize itself again? Man, money or the earth? – I already know the winner! It is certainly not us humans. (GK)

Here is a report from the affected Pacific from:
What Is Climate Change?
The Forgotten Pacific travels to five Pacific islands to discover how communities are weaving indigenous knowledge into the modern-day fight to adapt, rebuild and save their islands from climate change. Guided by the wisdom and passion of Pacific climate leader Suluafi Brianna Fruean the documentary spans across the waters of Fiji, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and Samoa. The Forgotten Pacific captures the vibrant yet challenging lives of these islands. Each island speaks to us with its own story of struggle and resilience, yet all are united by an unwavering spirit of hope and survival.
