Let’s Help Maui

Aloha my loyal friends and newcomers, those who are interested and curious, first of all I would like to thank you very much for your long loyalty and interest in my website „Tales of Hawaii“.

What a shock, what a catastrophe, pure horror! No word can describe what happened here in Lahaina, Maui on August 8, 2023, let alone what the local residents are now going through.

Paradise turned into black hell!

Within a very short time, Lahaina and the surrounding area burned to the ground. Unfortunately, there were also dead and injured poeples. The survivors and the people who were able to flee in time have lost all their homes and belongings and the job.

The history of the old whaling town and first capital of the Hawaiian Islands Lahaina is also all at once all extinguished, burned, dissolved into thin air. All of Lahaina’s infrastructure, shops, restaurants – just gone! Surely there will also be many animals without property there now. You have to look here too.

It will be a long, painful, costly process to rebuild the city and homes. But now the most important thing is to help the poor affected people immediately!

Did you want to spend your vacation in Maui? Do something better and good and rather donate the money to the people affected. I am in contact with Maui and we will see where, who, what is urgently needed NOW. Thank you very much for your large donations.
